He studied with Elvirita Gayani de Calcagno, Paquita Cendra, Manuel Cuadros and Andrés Santamaría in Peru, and with David Jones, Dan Marek and Giovanni Consiglio in New York as well. Later, he was very fortunate to have the opportunity to study with the famous Alfredo Kraus in Spain, which led to his professional breakthrough. Recently he has received counselling from the famous Claude Heater, the North-American tenor of great popularity because of his participation in the historic movie "Ben Hur", among other successful productions.
